Our teachers know their students and work with them to help them realise their potential as learners. Our focus on authentic learning and authentic assessment ensures that we challenge our students to grow in their learning and achieve their personal best.
Throughout our community of Sydney Catholic schools, we have shown high performance of our students in measures such as NAPLAN and the HSC.
St Anne’s Catholic Primary School South Strathfield has been recognised nationally over recent years for the significant gains made by our students in their NAPLAN Literacy and Numeracy results. The rich and varied curricular and extracurricular opportunities we provide for our students, cater to their unique interests and strengths, and give them real reasons to develop their communication skills.
Achievement is nurtured and recognised in science and technology, in the humanities, in the creative and performing arts – achievement within the St Anne’s programs and achievement outside the community. We look for opportunities for our students to shine in such events as the local Rotary Club Speech Craft nights, and STEM challenge days hosted by local High Schools. In recent times, students from our school have also been invited participants in a gymnastics training camp in China, and a football (soccer) training camp in Queensland run by English Club West Ham United FC. Other students have been selected to participate in dance squads with Sydney Catholic Schools, learning to choreograph dance.
